A woman came up with a simple trick to save time at Asda Leisure – and people were blown away by the idea.

If you’ve ever paid cash at a self-service, you’ll know how frustrating it can be when a machine takes your coins right before you spit them out.

Well, this easy hack means that you no longer have to put in every coin at once, and instead can pay to shop in one go.

You can watch the video below:

The machine swallows the coins one by one. But then Bethany reveals a much simpler way to insert the cash.

Instead of adding one at a time, she simply lifts the coin slot flap and puts in all her change at once.

In the video, she wrote, “I was today of my age when I discovered this life hack…just lift the lid and let it count your money.”

“I love this hack and I need to share it,” she added.

People were so moved by the clever hoax, one person wrote: “Oh my gosh – I never knew.”

Another said: “The level of quality of your work is excellent.”

Others had their own tips and tricks, with a third commenting on the video: “If you tip in a load of 1 and 2s (must be less than the shopping value) hit cancel payment it will set you back in paper/silver.”

However, some said they never paid cash anyway and used contactless payments while at the supermarket.

In another TikTok hack, a woman took to social media last week to share her helpful tip for opening drains.

If you’ve ever had to grab a plunger to try to remove dirt and grime lurking in your pipes, you’ll know how hard it can be to budge.

While industrial strength products are often effective, they are expensive and not great for your plumbing.

Sprinkle baking soda down the drain, pour vinegar and water over it, and watch as it fizzes. After letting it sit for 10 minutes, Veronica finishes the job by pouring more boiling water.

You can see the miraculous results here.
